Orkhan Efendi is a vocalist, an indie blues rock musician and songwriter. He has started to record his original songs since 2014 following to begin to perform on the stages in 2018. Efendi’s main genres are blues, blues rock, rock’n roll, rock ballads, progressive rock, but always with the combination of diversified styles and eastern elements.

On an educational side, Orkhan has graduated 7-years music school specialized with piano before starting to learn guitar at the age of 18, followed by constant self-development process.

Orkhan Efendi’s voice timbre is lyric/dramatic bass-baritone, being more close to the bass and he is using bell-canto features in singing.

Besides playing guitar, bass guitar, piano and drums he also writes and records all parts of the songs by himself.

Starting from 2014 he has been writing and recording the original songs and in November 27, 2020 Efendi compiled all records and  released  his  first  studio album with the name of “Release Yourself”, available in all major digital platforms. The main genres of album are blues, blues rock, rock’n roll, progressive rock, pop, rock ballad.

In November 2019, Efendi introduced his first music video for his song called “Universe In The Mind”, talking about to create the universe inside and floating there in the dreams.

In March 2020, Orkhan Efendi released a single titled with “Waiting for the Moment” with a new music video, where the scenes are about being on the road to reach the person that has been in the distance for some time.

In August 2020, Efendi posted new song first time in the genre of Pop, called “Walking on the Way”.

In September 2020, his new song “Separate Line” was published as a remake, which previously released in 2018.

He is currently working on new original music pieces and giving live concerts in different venues.

Orkhan Efendi has also played the full program with the band at One Caucasus Festival in August, 2019, where musicians from Caucasus and Europe gathered together in Marneuli, Georgia.

“My music is the only place where I can reach my barely spiritual and mental freedom. No restrictions on feelings and thoughts of mine exist there, it is only about releasing your inner side. Releasing the personality and the real self”

The logo of Efendi depicted below is also displaying the main motto in his music: Release yourself! The illustrated one with wings is what from our inner side literally exposes itself, which breaks all the boundaries from its cage and flies out through the chest. Those are feelings, what we cannot limit and conceal. It is our natural must to unleash the nude character from our inside.

“In our daily life, there are anyhow myriads of restraints, those confine our independence. However, the mental freedom is the most primary one. Happily, I have already found a cavity where the liberty and self-determination of mine is achieved”.

“Of course, it is mainly about music. I am a musician, that is my spiritual profession. However, enjoyable tune without a sensible poetry is uncompleted. Even senseless lyrics can detriment the beauty of sound sequence.​

Therefore, in my music each line of the lyrics is the story and the expression of my feelings without indulging even a word. Otherwise, I would feel indeed unsatisfied, which is quite unbearable. Not being able to convey what you really contemplate is painful”.

In the time-being, Orkhan Efendi works on his further songs regularly. You will be communicated whenever  new-born is ready come to the world!

“There are still tons of songs to write, sing, perform and put them in the heritage to live on. Hopefully my life will enable me to let them come to the reality. It is crucial and decisive, because it is what I am living for”.
